Privacy policy

What Sygne stores, why, and who else processes it.

Scope

This policy covers the Sygne analytics product operated by Sygne Labs, LLC. It describes the data Sygne actually collects in its current form. Where a section says Sygne does not collect something, that reflects the product as built.

Account data

Authentication runs on Better Auth. When you create an account, Sygne stores:

  • Your email address, and whether it has been verified.
  • A hash of your password. Sygne never stores your password in plain text and cannot read it.
  • A display name, which defaults to the first part of your email address if you do not set one.
  • Account creation and update timestamps.
  • Short-lived verification and password reset tokens, which expire.
  • If you start the free trial, the date it started, so each account gets one trial.

Session data

Each active sign-in creates a session record holding a session token, an expiry, and the IP address and browser user agent seen at sign-in. Sessions expire after seven days and are deleted when you sign out.

Wallet address

Linking a Solana wallet is optional and only needed for holder access. If you link one, Sygne stores the public wallet address and the signature record that proves you control it. Sygne never has access to your private keys and cannot move funds.

To check holder eligibility, Sygne sends your public wallet address to a Solana RPC provider to read token balances. It reads balances for the specific mints that determine access and does not retain a broader picture of your holdings.

Entitlement state

Sygne caches the result of an access check so it does not have to re-read the chain on every request. The cached record holds the product tier it resolved to, where that tier came from (a subscription, a token holding, or a manual grant), an expiry, and small related metadata such as a Stripe subscription identifier. Holder checks are cached for a limited period and then recomputed.

Billing data

Payments are processed by Stripe. Sygne stores the Stripe customer identifier, the subscription identifier, the price identifier, the subscription status, the current period end, and whether the subscription is set to cancel at period end.

Sygne does not receive, handle or store your card number, card expiry, security code or billing address. Those go to Stripe directly. See the Billing Terms for how subscriptions work.

Watchlist data

Each watchlist entry stores the public wallet address you added, an optional label you choose, when you added it, and your alert choices for that wallet (whether it is muted, and whether its summaries come daily or hourly). Labels are free text, so avoid putting anything sensitive in them. Your labels appear in alert emails and Telegram messages sent to you and are never shown to anyone else.

On the Pro and Power plans you can also keep private wallet labels for any wallet address, whether or not it is on your watchlist. A wallet label stores the public wallet address, and the nickname, note, flags (such as "Bot" or "Inactive") and tags you choose, with when you created and last changed it. Wallet labels are visible only to you. A nickname appears in alert emails and Telegram messages sent to you in place of the watchlist label. If your plan ends, your wallet labels are kept and you can still read, edit and delete them.

Alerts

Alerts are off until you switch them on in your alert settings. They go by email, and on the Power plan also by Telegram if you connect it. If you use alerts, Sygne stores:

  • Your alert settings: whether alerts are on, where they go (email, Telegram), which kinds of position change you want, the smallest position to alert on, the timezone used for summaries, and when you last unsubscribed from alert email, if you have.
  • A record of each alert message sent to you or attempted, by email or Telegram: its type, when it was sent, how many items it held, whether it was delivered to the provider, and the provider's message identifier.
  • A record of which detected position changes were queued for you on each channel, and whether each was sent or held back (for example because it was stale, or because you muted the wallet or switched alerts off).

Your settings are kept while your account is open; the message and queue records are deleted after ninety days. Every alert email carries a link that stops alert email without signing in, and email clients that support one-click unsubscribe can do the same from their own interface. That stops email only: Telegram alerts, if you have them on, continue. Turning alerts off in your settings stops every channel straight away and drops anything already queued.

If you connect Telegram, Sygne stores the ID of your private chat with the Sygne bot, your Telegram username if you have one (shown in your settings only; it can change), when you connected, whether the chat is active or you blocked the bot, and the last delivery error Telegram reported. Connecting uses a one-time code that expires after ten minutes; only a one-way hash of it is stored. Sygne never reads your other Telegram chats and only answers the commands /start, /stop and /help. To disconnect, send /stop to the bot or choose Disconnect in your alert settings: either deletes the chat link straight away. You get an email whenever Telegram is connected or disconnected.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist on the home page, Sygne stores your email address, the date you joined, and which form on the page you used. Joining the waitlist does not create an account, and the address is not linked to one.

Sygne uses the address only to tell you when Sygne opens to new users. It is not shared with anyone except the email provider that delivers that message, and it is not used for advertising. Every waitlist email carries a way to unsubscribe. To be removed from the waitlist at any time, email support@sygne.xyz.

Analytics data about third party wallets

Sygne stores periodic snapshots of scores computed for public wallet addresses, including the conviction score, discipline grade, account value, margin usage ratio and return on investment. This data describes public blockchain activity and is not tied to your account.

For wallets on the watchlist of a Pro or Power account, Sygne also stores their latest public positions and the position changes it detects. These records describe the watched wallet, are shared across everyone who watches it, and do not identify who is watching. Detected changes are deleted after ninety days, and position records for wallets no one is watching any more are deleted after seven days.

Processors

Sygne relies on these third parties to operate:

  • Stripe, for subscription payments, the customer portal, and billing webhooks.
  • Telegram, if you connect it: alert messages are delivered to your private chat with the Sygne bot through the Telegram Bot API. Telegram receives the content of each message and the chat it goes to. Telegram's own privacy policy covers your Telegram account.
  • Resend, for email: verification and password reset messages, the alert emails and summaries you switch on, and the launch email to people on the waitlist. Resend receives your email address and the content of each message. Sygne does not send marketing email.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a bot check on the sign-up, sign-in and password reset forms and receives the visitor data needed to make that assessment.
  • Upstash Redis, which stores short-lived rate limit counters keyed by IP address and endpoint or by a one-way hash of an email address, short-lived cached data, and locks that keep scheduled jobs from running twice.
  • Sentry, for error monitoring. When something fails, Sentry receives the error, the page or endpoint involved, and browser and device type. It does not receive IP addresses, cookies, request bodies or account details, and email addresses and link tokens are removed from errors before they are sent.
  • Helius, Sygne's Solana RPC provider, which receives a linked public wallet address to read token balances.
  • Hyperliquid public APIs, which receive the public wallet addresses Sygne looks up.
  • Supabase, which hosts the Postgres database that stores your account data, in the United States.
  • Vercel, which hosts Sygne. Every request passes through it, so it receives your IP address and standard request data.
  • Proton Mail, which hosts the support@sygne.xyz and security@sygne.xyz inboxes, so it receives any email you send them.

What Sygne does not do

  • No advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no third party advertising or behavioral tracking pixels.
  • No sale of personal information.
  • No marketing email. Sygne emails you about your account, sends alerts only if you switch them on, and emails the waitlist only to say Sygne has opened.
  • No access to private keys, seed phrases or funds.
  • No collection of card details.

Retention

Account, watchlist, wallet label, entitlement and subscription records are kept while your account is open. Sessions expire on their own. Alert message and queue records are deleted after ninety days. A Telegram chat link is kept until you disconnect it or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your sessions, linked accounts, entitlements, subscription records, watchlist entries, private wallet labels, alert settings, alert records, Telegram chat link and holder wallet link, and cancels any subscription. Stripe keeps its record of your payments and invoices, which Sygne may need for tax or accounting purposes, and snapshots of public wallet analytics are unaffected because they are not tied to your account.

If you start the free trial, Sygne keeps a one-way hash of your email address (with letter case, dots in Gmail addresses and “+” tags removed) so the trial can be used only once per inbox. The address itself is not stored in that record, and the hash is kept after your account is deleted.

Waitlist entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed, and are deleted once the waitlist is no longer needed or when you delete your account.

Your requests

You can download a copy of your data at any time from your account page (“Download my data”), and delete your account there too (“Delete account”, confirmed by your password and a link sent to your email). To correct your data, or to ask a question about this policy, email support@sygne.xyz. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal data, and Sygne will honor valid requests it receives.

Shared infrastructure

Sygne shares a database with Signs Club, which is operated separately. Records described in this policy are the ones the Sygne product reads and writes. If you also hold a Signs Club account, activity you undertake there is governed by that product and its own terms.
